Pachios on the News Replay
On Wednesday February 4th at 7 PM, the Cable TV show, Pachios on the News (Portland Channel 5), will devote the entire show to a video of Harvard Professor Noah Feldman’s dynamic speech at USM’s recent Public Forum on How to Save the Rule of Law, which is facing unprecedented attacks.

Rescuing the Rule of Law
At 7 PM on Monday February 16th on Portland cable TV channels 2 and 5, we will initiate a new monthly TV show to highlight specific incidents where the rule of law is under attack. Each month our host, former State Senator Roger Katz, will discuss with a distinguished panel of experts specific cases where the Trump Administration has failed to comply with the law. The first show will focus on ICE and its abusive tactics to intimidate immigrants. After the airing, each show can be viewed on YouTube.

Maine Chapter of the American Constitution Society
On Thursday February 26, the Maine Chapter of the American Constitution Society will sponsor an event at the University of Maine Law School where a video of Harvard Professor Noah Feldman’s dynamic speech at USM’s recent Public Forum on How to Save the Rule of Law, will be shown followed by a brief question and answer session.

On March 24, David Webbert and Bill Harwood will teach a class at University of Maine at Augusta’s Senior College on defending the rule of law, which is the foundation of our 250-year-old democracy and our cherished rights to due process and equal justice.
